The Story of a Photographer

Hello there! I'm Nelwin Toyo, a 40-year-old Venezuelan living in Houston. Originally trained as an electronics technician, my journey into the captivating world of photography began when I relocated. What started as a mere curiosity quickly blossomed into a full-fledged passion for the art of capturing moments.

I thrive on the thrill of learning new editing and lighting techniques, constantly pushing the boundaries of my creativity. Collaborating with my wife Ana, a civil engineer by profession and a passionate baker at heart, adds an extra layer of inspiration to my work. Occasionally, you might even find my adorable 3-year-old son, Samuel, lending a hand – or simply adding his own touch of mischief to the scene.

Stepping into the realm of photography has been a journey of overcoming personal barriers and stage fright for me. As someone who tends to be a bit reserved, breaking through mental barriers and overcoming stage fright has been a transformative process.

Driven by curiosity, meticulous attention to detail, and a healthy dose of self-critique, I constantly strive to refine my craft and deliver stunning imagery that speaks volumes. Join me on this adventure as we explore the beauty of life through the lens of my camera.
